The Advantage PRO Filters are available for the both the Advantage Bead and Glass filters manufactured by Sacramento Koi. They offer improved performance by completely bypassing the the valve body or multiport head. As with all filters on the market, a majority of the back pressure to the pump is created by forceing the water through the multiport head. The multiport head is only needed during maintenance or backwashing of the filter. One benifit of having the water flow directly into the filter during normal operation results in more flow and lower head pressure. Thousands of customers have installed the regular Advantage bead and glass filters over the years with outstanding satisfaction. The NEW Advantage PRO series filters offer all of the same features of the regular Advantage filters, only with lower head pressure and improved flow rates.
The Advantage bead filters are designed to provide excellent mechanical filtering of waste and crud and the biological filtering needs. For those that desire polished water with no suspended debris in the water, consider installing the Advantage Glass filter after the bead filter. You will be amazed with the results! The bead filters are available in three sizes; The Advantage 15, Advantage 10 and the Advantage 5. The Glass filters are available in two sizes; The Advantage 15 Glass and the Advantage 10 Glass. Matching Glass filters with the Bead Filters is done by matching the same size.
